Keep it lightweight: zero-dependency Node scripts, read-only against the hosted API (JSON feeds), plus an MCP client script that can be used right away if the user has an OAuth token (MYSETUP_TOKEN environment variable), and optionally a helper that kicks off the OAuth flow (the user completes it in their browser).

Done. mysetup.ai does have a developer workflow I can act on, so I built a small example against the hosted service — no local stacks, no long-running commands.
What mysetup.ai is
A community site where people publish "how I work with AI" (tools, agents, workflows). Its programmatic surface:

Pricing
No pricing is published. /pricing is 404; the homepage, /sharing, and /connect mention no plans, billing, or paid tiers — sign-in and publishing appear free. (The "price/billing" strings on the site are contributor content, e.g. someone's product "Overclock", not mysetup.ai charges.) The site's own convention applies: unknown ≠ zero, so treat it as free-today, not free-forever.
Easy for me to manage?
Reads: yes, trivially — plain HTTPS JSON, stable feed IDs, no keys, nothing to run locally. Writes: partially blocked. The MCP endpoint returns 401 without a token, and getting one requires a browser sign-in with GitHub/Google/X — a human step I can't complete. Once you run npm run connect once, I can do everything else (get_setup, drafts, previews). Note the site's own rule, which I baked into the examples: never publish without your explicit approval of the exact preview_draft output — so the examples deliberately never call the write tools.
